How to improve the processing efficiency of machining centers?
Under the condition of allowable stiffness,a larger cutting depth is taken for rough machining to reduce the number of tool passes and improve workpiece productivity;Fine machining generally takes a smaller cutting depth to obtain higher surface quality.The impact on the final machining accuracy and efficiency of the workpiece should not only be due to the reasons of the CNC machine itself,but also be comprehensively considered from several aspects such as reasonable machining route setting,tool selection and correct installation,reasonable selection of cutting amount,programming skills,and rapid control of dimensional accuracy.
1、Programming Skills
CNC programming is the most fundamental work of CNC machining,and the quality of workpiece machining program directly affects the final machining accuracy and efficiency of the machine tool.We can start by cleverly using inherent programs,reducing accumulated errors in CNC systems,and flexibly using main programs and subroutines.
1.Flexible use of main program and subroutine
In the process of complex mold processing,the first mock examination is usually processed in the form of multiple pieces.If there are several identical shapes on the mold,the relationship between the main program and subroutines should be flexibly applied,and the subroutines should be repeatedly called in the main program until the machining is completed.Not only can it ensure the consistency of machining dimensions,but it can also improve its machining efficiency.
2.Reduce accumulated errors in CNC systems
Generally,incremental programming is used for workpiece programming,which is based on the previous point for machining.This way,continuous execution of multiple programs will inevitably result in accumulated errors.Therefore,when programming,it is recommended to use the*method as much as possible,so that each program segment is based on the workpiece origin,which can reduce the accumulated errors of the CNC system and ensure machining accuracy.
Processing accuracy is mainly used to produce products,and both processing accuracy and processing error are terms used to evaluate the geometric parameters of the processed surface.But the actual parameters obtained by any machining method will not be accurate.From the perspective of the function of the part,as long as the machining error is within the tolerance range required by the part drawing,it is considered to ensure the machining accuracy.
Mechanical processing accuracy refers to the degree to which the actual geometric parameters of a part after processing match the geometric parameters.The difference between them is called machining error.The magnitude of machining error reflects the level of machining accuracy.The larger the error,the lower the machining accuracy,and the smaller the error,the higher the machining accuracy.Below is a brief introduction to the methods for improving the machining accuracy of workpieces:
1、Adjust the process system
1)The trial cutting method is adjusted by trial cutting,measuring dimensions,adjusting the cutting tool's feed,cutting through the cutting path,and repeating this process until the required size is reached.This method has low production efficiency and is mainly used for single piece and small batch production.
2)The adjustment method obtains the required dimensions by pre adjusting the relative positions of the machine tool,fixture,workpiece,and tool.This method has high productivity and is mainly used for mass production.
2、Reducing machine tool errors and improving bearing rotation accuracy

Improve the accuracy of accessories related to bearings
